More control over digital transformation
This release introduces features that make it easier to automate processes, visualize data, and streamline tasks. All of this fits within JD Edwards’ low-code, no-code strategy, giving you more flexibility without added complexity.
EnterpriseOne Widgets
You’re no longer limited to count-based Watchlists. Widgets now pull data from orchestrations and logic extensions, allowing you to visualize totals, averages, and other key metrics in real time. Choose from bar charts or gauges to track things like the average duration of purchase approvals. All without writing code.
My Tasks enhancements
Your notification list just got more useful. It now supports messages from orchestrations, not just notifications. This gives you one central place to keep track of both types of updates. Messages tied to tracked tasks also stand out more clearly, helping users quickly spot what needs their attention.
Safer orchestration editing
When a user tries to edit a shared orchestration without reserving it first, the system now displays a warning. This helps prevent accidental overwrites and lost work.
Translatable input labels
Input labels in orchestrations, notifications, and logic extensions can now be translated into multiple languages. This improves clarity for international teams and makes it easier to manage multi-language environments.
Stronger security across the platform
Security updates in Release 25 focus on data protection and simplifying secure communication between components.
HMACSHA256 support
JD Edwards now supports HMACSHA256 encryption for invoice and payment files. This provides stronger protection for sensitive financial data.
Automatic TLS negotiation
TLS communication between JD Edwards components is now automatically configured. This simplifies setup and ensures that data transfers are secured by default.
Smarter system administration
Several enhancements are aimed at simplifying system management and reducing manual effort.
Direct access to build logs
System administrators can now access logs and output files from web package builds directly, without having to search through job histories. This makes deployments quicker and more transparent.
Force Merge in Change Assistant
Change Assistant now includes a Force Merge option, allowing you to apply updates even when objects already exist. This is ideal for vanilla environments or when preparing for code current projects.
Clear page cache in Server Manager
You can now clear the EnterpriseOne Page cache with a single click in Server Manager. This helps you see changes immediately, without needing to restart services.
Updated platform certifications
JD Edwards stays current with the latest technology, helping you stay ahead. Release 25 brings updated certifications for popular browsers, databases, operating systems, and infrastructure components. Ready to run on modern platforms? You’re covered.
